Gonshar exposed rats to 2.4 GHz, 7 hours/day for 30 days and studied the effect on the levels of alkaline phosphatase and glycogen (two indicators of cellular activity) in the neutrophils (12). Glycogen increased following 3 days’ exposure at both 10 and 50 µW/cm2; after 7 days’ exposure it decreased to the control level. In contrast to this apparent adaptational response, there was a sustained depressing effect on glycogen content at 500 µW/cm2 which was still observed after 30 days’ exposure. At all three intensities, the alkaline phosphatase levels first increased then decreased below the control level within 30 days.

Meda (9) found a Iymphocyte decrease and a neutrophil and eosinophil increase in rats after a single 6-hour exposure to 100 kv/m, 50 Hz. A similar blood picture was found in mice after 500- and 1000-hour exposures to 100 kv/m (9). A significant increase in WBC was found in rabbits that had been exposed to 50 kv/m, 50 Hz, for 3 months (14). As has been the case with almost all biological indicators, the time course of the changes in blood parameters following EMF exposure was not the same in each test animal (11). Guinea pigs were exposed to 3GHz, 10 min/day, for 30 days (11), and both the irradiated and the sham-exposed animals were sampled before and after each daily exposure bout.

The sham-exposed group revealed no significant changes, but animals exposed to 25 or 50 µW/cm2 exhibited EMF-induced alterations with time dependencies that differed with each animal. For a given exposure duration, the WBC was above the normal level in some animals, and below it in others; as a result, the average values varied little during the study. At 500 µW/cm2, however, even on the average there was a pronounced leukopenia and Iymphocytosis.

Changes have been reported in the cellular composition of the blood of rats, mice, dogs, guinea pigs, and rabbits following exposure to both high and low frequency EMFs (7-15). Graves (7) exposed mice continuously to 25 and 50 kv/m for 6 weeks and found that the white blood cell count (WBC) was increased by 20% and 66% respectively. The red blood cell count (RBC) decreased by 6% and 12% at the respective fields, but these changes were not reported statistically significant.

Rats exposed intermittently (30 min/day) to 100 kv/m, 50° Hz, for 8 weeks, exhibited elevated neutrophil levels and depressed Iymphocyte levels (8). The same results were found following 2, 5, and 7 weeks’ exposure at 5 hours/day. In dogs, alteration of the blood profile was seen following exposure at 10-25 kv/m (8).

Nine.) SATELLITES – Walk outside, anywhere, and you’ll be inundated with RF from satellites, both civilian and army. If you might visibly “see” these sources, you would see points of “light” from the 22,500 mile high Clarke belt of still satellites. This belt of satellites rise from the western horizon and arcs across the sky to the east. There also will be loads of moving lights in the sky from lower geosynchronous orbits. A number of these are also satellites the army uses that send signals to earth, too. Many army satellites have high-powered optical sensors, with great telephoto lenses that watch everything from orbit.

These satellites orbit about two hundred miles up and in contrast to public belief, can basically read a paper title from orbit. The portrayal of distant fuzzy pictures as seen in “Patriot Games” is some distance from the truth. And these satellites bombard the earth with additional RF radiation as they send their information to earth.

The results of microwaved food on the immune mechanism are basically unexplored by conventional science, but are fairly well known by those that suffer from them. It is usually considered that any frequency above TV channel 83 is microwave. There’s a “fuzzy” line between microwave and non-microwave radio signals. Decades gone, folks could go to a doctor for aches and pains and be treated with a Diathermy machine. This machine was basically a shortwave radio transmitter, and operated with a curved antenna that fits the human body. When placed against the skin, the antenna radiated energy that was soaked up deep in the body’s tissues. A sufficient power level of RF energy will cause currents of electricity to flow in these tissues, thus making heat. These machines are likely outlawed by this time and died a quiet death in America. RF energy causes molecules to collide with each other making heat. This happens in tisuues like muscles, as well as blood. FM stations ( found in the radio band near TV channel six ) and over the air TV channels two thru thirteen are all in the VHF band. These signals can also pass thru the human body without harm.

These waves are measured in several feet. When you look at any Television antenna, multiply the width of the antenna by 4, which will be the wavelength of the wave from the Television transmitter. Thus the term [*FR3] wavelength, which is a design rule for most antennas. TV channels fourteen thru 83 are in the UHF area. Channel 83 is basically just below analog cell telephone frequencies. Progammable police scanners scan police channels that are terribly close to cell telephone frequencies. ( Privacy laws force scanners to dam the cell telephone band. ) WHERE DOES MICROWAVE BEGIN ? We are now entering the realm where RF starts to affect the human body at a distance.

THE RF Range – WHAT DIFFERENT RF FREQUENCIES DO TO THE HUMAN BODY For our EU chums, please note that all of the frequencies referenced below are for the Yankee and Canadian radio range. The lowest frequencies are radio waves, that are essentially the same as frequencies as the audio sound which comes out of your speakers. This called VLF, or Really Low Frequency. These waves have wavelengths measured in thousands of miles.

They pass through the body without damage. Commercial AM radio signals, use waves that are also quite long and pass thru the body with relative ease. These are also waves, whose wavelengths are measured in lots of feet. Shortwave signals are also exceedingly long, and this part of the range reaches up to part of the miltary band, located below Television channel two.
