The blood-brain barrier is a delicate membrane that separates the brain from the rest of the body and filters the blood supply to the brain. This filtering membrane keeps toxins and damaging proteins that might be found in the blood from coming in contact with sensitive brain tissue. Research has shown that talking on a cell phone for as little as two minutes will disable the blood-brain barrier.
