Seok. In-for pregnant women who frequently use mobile
devices that emit or adjacent wave radiation should be
careful. Because the latest research indicated, exposure to
radiation from mobile phones during pregnancy can affect
foetal brain development, potentially causing a hyperactive
child.
Such research is done scientists from Yale School of drugs,
after performing a series of experiments in mice. These
findings were published on March 15, 2012 in the Scientific
Report.
“This is the first experimental evidence that shows that
exposure to radio frequency radiation from mobile phone on
the fetus can affect behavior,” said senior researcher, Hugh
s. Taylor, m.d., Professor and Chief of the Division of
Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility, obstetrics,
gynaecology and the reproduction.
In his research, Taylor and colleagues made two group
experiments. In the first group, pregnant rats given
exposure to radiation from mobile phone signals. While other
groups are treated in the same conditions but with the phone
turned off.
Then, the researchers measured the electrical activity of
the brain of adult rats are exposed to radiation, and did a
series of psychological tests and behavior. They found that
mice exposed to radiation tend to be hyperactive and
decreased memory capacity
“We have shown that the problem behavior in mice that
resemble ADHD caused by lack of exposure to cell phones
while still in the content,” said Taylor.
“An increased risk of behavioral disorders in children may
be partly due to human exposure to radiation from mobile
phones during pregnancy,” brightening.
Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), developmental
disorders in increasing is the activity of children’s motor
to cause children’s activities that were uncommon and tend
to overdo it.
But Taylor came back confirmed that needed more research on
humans to better understand the mechanisms behind these
findings and to establish safe exposure limits during
pregnancy. Dibutukan further study to determine whether the
potential risks from radiation exposure during pregnancy in
humans provide the same effect.
