Cell phones and cancer, cell phones don’t produce ionized
radiation, so how do they trigger cancer?
They don’t. This is an old urban legend.
There is no evidence that cell phones trigger cancer
i gave a speech on this trust me..they cause many other
problems like blurred vision, headaches, ear aches. not
cancer…

Your belief was correct that, indeed, it takes very high
energy, ionizing radiation on the electromagnetic spectrum
to cause the sort of damage we see with x-ray, CT, etc.
The whole thing with the cell phone issue got the media in a
frenzy when a prominent physician at Pittsburgh Med. Ctr.
issued a memo to employees which basically read that since
we don’t know the long term risks of cell phones, he urged
caution. He cited a few rather obscure articles which were
based on data from the really old kind of cell phones which
were much higher in energy and no one uses them today.
Theoretically, even though those old models from 20 to 30
years back were non-ionizing, they still had the potential
to cause harm by heating.
To this day, we don’t have a shred of solid evidence linking
cells phones to cancer. I think that whenever a well-known
physician issues any sort of memo like this, it’s gonna
raise eyebrows and by the time it gets shuffled through and
distorted by the media, it places everyone in an uproar.
Bottom line is that we have studied this very carefully and
have yet to find a causal relationship between cell phones
we used (which are way lower in energy than those in the
obscure sturdies from Sweden) and malignancy.
